HOIMA: Following the tight restrictions imposed by the government of Uganda on people who are not vaccinated, many people have started turning up for the vaccination exercise in different health facilities in Hoima City.
Speaking to UG Reports this evening, one of medical workers who chose anonymity explained that they has administered more than 300 people by 5pm at the Kingdom Chambers. She also explained that it was their first time to register higher number of people since they started the exercice.
”Majority of people who have turned up today are bodaboda riders, drivers, and the youth who had earlier shunned the exercise,” She explained.
When contacted on phone call, Dr. Lawrence Tumusiime the District Health Officer explained that there is higher number of people turning up for vacciantion exercise in Hoima, and they have dispatched vaccines to all health centers in the district.
