50-YEAR-OLD STABBED TO DEATH IN KAKUMIRO

KAKUMIRO: Police in Kakumiro district are investigating circumstances under which a 50-year-old man was stabbed to death in Lwamata A LC1, Lwamata parish in Mpasaana Sub County.

The deceased, identified as Didas Tumwebaze, a resident of Buterere village in the same parish, was stabbed to death on Sunday night.

John Tumwesigye an eye witness told ugreports.com in an interview that he received a call from Nicholas, a son to the deceased informing him that his father had been stabbed by unknown people.

Meanwhile Federesi Kyohirwe the wife of the deceased narrated that they were having supper when the husband moved out to give food to his dogs.

‘’After few minutes, I heard him making an alarm and on reaching outside his arm was already chopped off. He died on the way when we were rushing him to the hospital for medication,’’ she said.

Emmanuel Muhumuza the LC3 chairperson Mpasaana sub county asked whoever might be having a clue that can lead to the arrest of the culprits to deliver it to the authorities.
