HOIMA: Police in Hoima have arrested Robert Musana, 28, of Mparo in Hoima City, for allegedly murdering his 39-year-old stepbrother identified only as Businge.
ASP Allan Julius Hakiza, the Albertine Region Police Spokesperson, told www.ugreports.com that the incident happened this morning at around 1 am when Musana got into a misunderstanding with the step brother in their rented room. “Musana got into a misunderstanding in one of the bars in the city. This prompted the bar operator to contact Businge to intervene in the brawl,” he asserted.
The police mouthpiece also explained that Musana and the brother now deceased went back to their rented room. “It’s alleged that the two got into a misunderstanding in their room, Musana boxed the brother and passed on at one of the clinics where he was rushed for medication,” Hakiza further explained.
Hakiza also told ugreports.com that the suspect is in their custody. “Postmortem was made and the body has been handed over to the relatives for burial,” he asserted. Hakiza asked the public to desist from such acts.
