ARUA MAYOR DISTANCES HIMSELF FROM MARKET SAGA

ARUA: Muzaid Khemis the Mayor Arua Central Division in Arua City has distanced himself from the saga surrounding Arua Central Main Market
On Monday during the meeting organised by the vendors, they tasked the Division Mayor and the area member of parliament to explain to them whether those operating in the central market are Congolese nationals.
In response Muzaid says he was not among the allocation committee and the mess was done by the chairperson allocation committee and the team.
‘’I wasn’t among the allocation committee and the mess was done by the chairperson allocation committee and the team,’’ he distanced himself.
He further says the complaint desk was opened after he had visited the market and found out mess in distribution of the stalls in the market
Khemis further said the allocation committee would have started the allocation from the first floor of the market and end with the ground floor the mess he attributes to the allocation chairperson.
The politician has vowed not to operate under any ones pressure but rather follow the guidelines.
‘’I will not operate under any one’s pressure but rather follow the guidelines,’’ he vowed.
