Maate said that it’s alleged that the deceased has been in conflict with the two biological sons over a piece of land that the two men wanted to grab by force and the coffee that was always harvested by their aged parents for survival.
The police mouthpiece also told journalists that the husband of the deceased, Peter Kahandana heard an unusual cough by the deceased who had slept in a different bedroom, and by morning time when he woke up could not see her around.
“Considering the deceased’s record of checking on neighbours every morning, he could not bother tracing for her but prepared himself and moved to church for Sunday prayers” Maate explained.
It was at the time the husband returned from church at around midday when he got information that Bagweirwegye Medius who had gone to a nearby swamp to collect Papyrus had found the wife dead.
