MENGO: The 48th edition of the Stanbic Uganda Cup Quarter Final draws have been made on Wednesday 6th April 2022 at the FUFA house in Mengo.

The eight teams remaining include five from the Uganda Premier League, two from Regional League and one from the FUFA Big League.

Masindi based side Booma Football Club have been drawn against FUFA Big league entity Maroons FC.

The one legged fixture will be played at Masindi stadium between 24th – 27th April 2022.
Booma FC beat fellow Regional league side Tipsha Fc 2-0 at the round of 16.

Striker Asiimwe Clinton and attacking midfielder Ashraf Ali were on target for the Tukyate Boys.
Maroons FC on the other side eliminated fellow Big league side Ndejje University Fc 1-0 to Qualify to the last eight.

Currently, Booma FC are on top of the Kitara Regional League table with 26 points from 10 games.
They are the only Unbeaten team having won eight and drawn two.


In the FUFA Big League, Maroons Fc are 2nd on the log with 32 points from 18 games tied at same points with leaders Kataka Fc but separated by the goal difference of three.

Else where, defending Champions Vipers who eliminated Kataka Fc at the round of 16 3-0 will visit Wakiso Giants in the Wakiso derby.

The purple sharks beat UPDF FC 3-0 to reach this stage.

SC will host BUL FC. The Jogoos eliminated Onduparaka Fc 1-0 while were 4-3 winners in penalties against Soltilo Brighters after a 2-2 draw in normal time.

Relegation threatened Mbarara City Fc will welcome Regional League side Mbale Heroes Fc at Kakyeka stadium in Mbarara.

All fixtures are scheduled to take place between 24th – 27th April 2022.

After this stage, four teams will qualify to the semi finals.
