BUKEDEA: The Bukedea LCV Chairperson Mr Moses Olemukan on Saturday evening succumbed to cancer.
His death was announced by the Speaker of Ugandan Parliament Rt. Hon Anita Among through her official twitter handle.
“It is with great sadness that I announce the untimely death of my District Chairman and brother Moses Olemakun. My sincere condolences to his family and the people of Bukedea, may his soul find eternal rest,” she tweeted.
Olemukan passed on at Mulago Cancer Institute Kampala.
The deceased was first taken to Nairobi hospital last month and was returned in December after realizing some health improvement.
On 8th Saturday December 2022 the different religious denominations gathered and held a thanksgiving prayer upon his first discharge from Nairobi Hospital.
Juma Emong Showan, the district speaker Bukedea told this publication that they have been running the council business without chairman and his vice has been acting in his absence.
We are waiting for a detailed medical report from the hospital.
