BUKEDEA: The rotary district governor John Ndamira Magezi over the weekend graced the installation of new president elect of the rotary club Bukedea Martha Agwang and the charter Rotaract president Solomon Masanga.
The colourful function took place at the Barack motel in Bukedea town council in Bukedea district.
During the installation, the district governor honoured the works performed by the club members in improving health service delivery in Bukedea health centre IV.
Among the works performed by the rotary club Bukedea to Bukedea health centre IV include, installation of solar system, purchase of theatre equipment, gloves, refilling of oxygen cylinders, purchase of hospital blood fridge, operation of impaired persons among others.
The rotary club also conducted malaria testing of candidate classes and purchased mosquito nets for primary schools in Bukedea.
The club also procured seating desks for schools as one way to foster learning of learners in school among others.
The installation married two aspects, also a total of eighteen rotaracts were chartered as the young club member for Bukedea rotary club.
Solomon Masanga, the rotaract charter president while taking the club oath, promised to work jointly with the club members to ensure proper development of the club and Bukedea at large.
“I promise to ensure joint collective effort with my club members and rotary family at large,”Masanga said.
