By George Emuron

BUKEDEA: Students in Bukedea Christian High School in Bukedea district Wednesday morning waged a strike, chased out all the school teachers and the school head teacher demanding to be given proper accountability for the school fees they pay.

The strike erupted at around 10am until 3pm after police interventions.

According to the angry students, they have spent two week without attending classes yet they have been asked by the school administration to clear school fees.

“We need our money back, we cannot be at school without learning, no proper meals both the head teacher and teachers just sit at school,”said Angry learners.

Simon Peter Opus, the school head teacher who ended up running out of school after students became rivals, said the cause of the strike was unclear.

He says he found teachers running away from school and being chased by students.
