The district community development officer also said that these groups are operating different projects like produce, boda-boda, and piggery noting that most of them are in the project of produce.  ‘’These groups received their money early this month and they are to refund it after four months, however, for the case of bull fattening, they were given a gross period of one year,’’ Barugahara noted.

He also disclosed that last year 25 groups in the district received the money, and this year 11 groups were considered. Barugahara has asked the beneficiaries to adhere to the financial agreement signed when receiving the fund. ‘’They should honor and adhere to the financial agreement so that they can be considered in the next programs,’’ he asserted.

Zainab Agaba the chairperson Twebimbe Widow Fishing Association told that they shared the money amongst themselves adding that they couldn’t have one produce project noting that they wouldn’t make profits. ‘’We got eight million and we are ten members, so to recover the money within gross period, we had to share it amongst ourselves,’’ she contended.
