BULIISA: Kenneth Kumakech the Buliisa Grade 1 Magistrate Court has remanded Lawrence Oba 59, a teacher at Biiso Model School in Biiso town council Buliisa District to Masindi Prisons.

In his ruling, Oba committed aggravated defilement. The 59-year-old teacher will appear at Masindi High Court on the date yet to be set.

The primary teacher who was supposed to retire next year was last month caught red-handed allegedly defiling a 15 year old primary seven pupil of the same school.

In an interview with ugreports Wednesday evening, ASP John Mwaule the Buliisa District Police Commander {DPC} revealed that Mr. Oba Lawrence spent only two days in custody at Buliisa Central Police Station and was then transferred and remanded to Masindi Prisons.

Last month the suspect was caught red-handed with a primary seven pupil in the staff quarter since she was missing lessons.
