BUNDIBUGYO NRM REGISTRAR KILLED

BUNDIBUGYO: Police in Rwenzori West is investigating circumstances under which the National Resistance Movement {NRM} Registrar Bundibuggyo district is suspected to have been killed and body dumped at Bimala cell, Kanyansimbi Bundibudyo Town Council.

Robert Kifunga Aguma aged 43years old, lawyer by profession and the NRM Registrar Bundibugyo has been a resident of kisenyi cell, central ward Bundibugyo Town council Bundibugyo district.

Vincent Twesigye the Rwenzori West Police Spokesperson told our reporter that he got information on Saturday morning from the chairperson LC I Bimala village that a unidentified person has been found lying dead near the Bimala river along Gabata cell-mpumpai cell footpath via kudos guest house.

On reaching the scene, Police identified the body which was found dressed well without shoes, tongue protruding out, and looks to have been carried to the scene.

The police spokesperson says the body is still at Bundibugyo hospital mortuary pending transportation to Fort Portal regional referral hospital for postmortem and examination by Regional police Surgeon.
