MASINDI: 21 years later, the Masindi based Radio Kitara 96.9 FM has 31st May 2022 quitted the business.

It’s not yet clear why Gen. Ali Kiiza has decided to close his multi-million business just in a blink of an eye.

According to reliable sources, the proprietor had a meeting with his staff on 31st May 2022 at the station. ‘’The meeting didn’t last for long, we were paid 10months upfront,’’ the source told ugreports.

It’s not yet clear whether the giant radio station has quitted the business due to financial constraints or the management has been changed.

Following the closure of the giant radio station, many people including the politicians have been left paralyzed. ‘’I enjoyed the round the table program every Saturday in the morning, it gave me an audience, and I will live to remember Radio Kitara,’’ the politician said.

According to another reliable source, the radio will be back to air soon. ‘’I’m not sure whether the new management has taken over the radio, but what I know it will be back on air soon,’’ he said.

The Forum for Democratic Change {FDC} President Patrick Oboi Amuriat was the last guest to be hosted on Radio Kitara on Saturday 28th May 2022 in the two hour talk show after meeting the FDC leaders from greater Masindi district at Lado Hotel Masindi.

Radio Kitara winds up with a legacy of being moderate.
