MBALE: Kelly Tumusiime, a student at Busitema university who was shot on Saturday has passed on Sunday morning at Mbale referral hospital where he was battling injuries from a gun shot,
According to close sources, the deceased was shot by a security guard at around 4a.m. The deceased was a first year medical student pursuing a bachelor of science in anesthesia.
Tumusiime was rushed to Mbale referral hospital in short of blood and prior to his death, a campaign was being run calling upon blood donors (group A- and O-) to run to his rescue.
By the time of publication, Mbale police hadn’t come out to issue official statement on the incident.
