KIRYANDONGO: Dozens of people are feared dead following an accident that happened last night along Kampala – Gulu highway, according to eyewitnesses, the incident happened at around 9pm in Rwenkunyi village in Kiryandongo district.
The eyewitnesses also told our reporter that the bus which was heading to Adjumani district overturned in the said village as the driver tried to dodge a mad man who was in the road.
ASP Allan Julius Hakiza the Albertine Region Police Spokesperson has this morning confirmed the incident. The police mouthpiece however didn’t disclose the details pertaining the accident but explained that the casualties were rushed to Kiryandongo hospital for treatment.
‘’I’m yet to get the details of the casualties, those who died, and the particulars which were in the bus, and the bus company,’’ Hakiza noted.
