DRUG STOCKOUT HIT MASINDI HOSPITAL

Masindi district general hospital has run out of drugs, this follows after National Medical Stores failing to deliver the drugs in the space of three mothers.
Dr. Simon Baguma the Masindi general hospital administrator explains that since September, they haven’t received drugs from the National Medical Stores, he however notes that it’s a national wide issue since the drug company was upgrading on the procurement system thus affecting the health sector across the country.
The health expert explains that patients who report for medication at the hospital are advised to buy drugs from the clinic. Dr. Baguma asserts that they will soon receive the drugs from National Medical Stores since the system
