EMPLOY SPECIALISTS WHO WILL HANDLE PREGNANT GIRLS – BUNYORO PM

By Our Reporter

HOIMA: Rt. Hon. Andrew Byakutaga the Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom Prime Minister has asked government and private school proprietors to employ specialists who will handle pregnant children when schools resume on Monday next week.

In a special interview with www.ugreports.com this afternoon, the prime minister said that since ministry of education directed learning institutions to admit pregnant children, there is need to employ specialists who will handle heavy children. ‘’There is need for government and private school proprietors to employ specialists because teachers are not specialized in handling patients or pregnant children,’’ he asserted.

Byakutaga is also worried whether the pregnant children will resume studies since they may not fit to be classes with other learners. ‘’There is need for teachers and parents to counsel these children because it will be hard for them to fit in classes with others,’’ he noted.

‘’We are happy that the government has reopened learning institutions, but our worry is whether these students will resume studies because they are used to the new environment, however, parents and teachers should join hands to ensure all learners report to schools,’’ he advised.

He also asked school administrators not to hike schools fees since all people were equally affected by corona virus outbreak, and they should observe the standard operating procedures to curb the spread of the deadly corona virus pandemic in the country.
