BULIISA: The Government of Uganda is set to construct two more Seed schools in Buliisa district Bunyoro sub region Western Uganda.
This was revealed by the Buliisa district education officer Tyson Kasangaki while speaking to our reporter on Friday evening in his office.
He said that the government earmarked over 5billion shillings this financial year for the construction of Kihungya Seed School and Buliisa T/C Seed School.
According to the education specialist, construction will kick off early next month since the government has already secured the contractors.
This comes at a time Buliisa district is to commission Ngwedo Seed secondary school that has been completed and the chief guest arguably being the state minister for Bunyoro Affairs Jenifer Kacha Namiyangu.
The commissioning date was set on 30th March however tentatively pushed to 6th April since most government dignitaries are engaged with the death of Parliament Speaker Rt. Hon. Jacob Oulanyah.
Currently Buliisa has two seed schools including Butiaba Seed Secondary and Ngwedo Seed Secondary school which is set to be commissioned this month.
