HOIMA INVESTORS SEEK SUPPORT FROM INVESTORS IN ENGLAND
He pledged support to the investors on behalf of the government in order for them to help Uganda reach the middle status countries.

HOIMA: Investors in Hoima City have requested support from investors in England, particularly in the areas of tourism, the oil and gas sector, technology, and innovation, in order for the City to develop.
While speaking to the delegation from Germany, which was invited by the Mayor of Hoima City, Hon. Brain Kaboyo, and led by the Chief of the State Chancellery and the German State Minister Oliver Schenk, Kabagambe Kaliisa, the senior presidential adviser on oil and gas, says Uganda has a lot of opportunities in the oil industry, hence requesting them to invest in it.
‘’Uganda has a lot of opportunities in the oil industry that have remained untapped; therefore, I request that you tap into them,’’ he said.
Kabagambe says Uganda has taken attractive measures to entice investors to operate in the country. ‘’ Uganda has put in place attractive measures to entice investors to operate in the country,’’ he said.
The Chief of the State Chancellery and the German State Minister Oliver Schenk pledged support for Uganda’s health sector and expressed interest in continuing cooperation between the two countries.

Hoima City Mayor Brain Kaboyo says Hoima has space for investors to tap in order to boost the city’s economy. ‘’Hoima has space for investors to tap in order to boost the economy of the City,’’ he assured them.
Badru Mugabi, the resident City Commission, pledged support to the investors on behalf of the government in order for them to help Uganda reach the middle status countries.
