HOIMA: As the world celebrates valentines day, many businesses tend to earn a lot from the celebration, however, this has not been the case in Hoima city.
Most restaurant owners who talked to our reporter in Hoima City revealed that they have not earned big this year compared to previous valentines day celebrations.
Most of them cited that the low earning is due to lock down, and parents and guardians taking children back to learning institutions.
Nassaba Aggrey the manager Evils Restaurant says that though they have not got many customers, the few were new clients. ”We got new customers compared to the old ones, but wasn’t like other years,” he asserted.
Other restaurant owners also didn’t have different story.
