KABALE TECHNICAL STUDENTS STORM RDC’S OFFICE OVER COLLEAGUES’ SUSPENSION

KABALE: Students of Kabale technical in Kabale Municipality Kabale district on Friday stormed the office of the Resident District Commissioner {RDC} seeking justice following the suspension of their fellow students for unclear reasons.

The Kabale RDC Godfrey Nyakahuma asked students to be patient till 7th October, 2022 when they will hold stakeholders meeting to settle the matter and other related challenges at the Institution.

Nyakahuma also assured students that the suspended students will return to the learning institution and they will withdraw the armed security forces from the technical institute.

Miracle Tayebwa, the Institution’s Guild President told this website that they are seeking justice upon the suspension of their fellow students who were suspended for unclear reasons.

‘’We also wanted the armed police officers to be withdrawn from the technical institute,’’ Tayebwa said.

Eight students including Junior Ayebare the outgoing guild president were suspended from the learning institution and were expected to report back for Uganda Business and Technical Examinations Board (UBTEB) in November.
