KAGADI: The Bishop of Bunyoro Kitara diocese Rt. Rev Samuel Kahuma Abwooli has officially commissioned Ruteete coffee factory in Ruteete town council, Kagadi district.

The Bishop commissioned the factory on Saturday evening calling on the general public to embrace coffee growing for income generation.

”I call upon the public to make good use of this factory so that we can improve on our livelihood,” he asked the public.

The Bishop also hailed the factory directors for initiating a standard project to produce quality coffee.
The factory directors Eng. Dr Anania Mbabazi and Hon Janepher Kyomuhendo Mbabazi the Kagadi district woman Mp have commended Bishop for accepting to commission their factory.

”We shall maintain the quality at the factory since its for the wellbeing of the coffee farmers not only in Kagadi but also Bunyoro at large,” they said.

Meanwhile Ruteete town council leaders led by Guard Gahima the district councilor and Wellen Bamwesigye the Mayor are optimistic that the factory will help them through revenue collections, employment and development in return.

”We hope the factory will will boost the livelihood of the coffee farmers since we have got the factory thus ready market,” they asserted.
