KAGADI VETERANS GROUP RECEIVES UGX 5M TO BOOST THEIR SAVINGS

By Joseph Tindyebwa

KAGADI: Kagadi district veterans group has received 5million Uganda shillings from the government of Uganda to help them increase on savings and develop the association.

This information was revealed on Wednesday evening by Lilian Rutereho the Kagadi Resident District Commissioner while in an interview with our reporter in Kagadi town.

Ruteraho said the money is not meant for sharing as many veterans may be thinking, but for developing their SACCO as the government looks forward to supporting them more.

The resident district commissioner called upon those who have not yet joined the veterans group to do so if they are also to benefit from the government support.

She further went on to encourage the general public to embrace Covid19 vaccination exercise that is on-going so that the corona virus death rates can be reduced.
