KAGADI WOMAN STRANGLED, BODY DUMPED IN MAIZE PLANTATION

KAGADI: Police in Kagadi District are investigating circumstances under which a 42-year-old woman was strangled, and body dumped in a maize plantation near her home on Monday.

ASP Julius Allan Hakiza the Albertine Region Police Spokesperson identified the deceased as Allen Uwimana 42, a resident and a bar attendant in Kabamba Village in Kagadi District.

‘’The crime was reported by the area local council one Kabamba and police visited the scene where the deceased was dumped in a maize plantation near her home,’’ said Hakiza.

The police spokesperson also asserted that the suspects haven’t been identified but the postmortem report shows that the deceased was strangled.

The police officer called upon bar owners to always accommodate their workers since they close late to curb such eventualities.
