KIBAALE: Over 30 dogs have been killed as authorities in Kibaale Town Council embark on a campaign to eliminate stray dogs in the area.

Doreen Katushabe, the Kibaale town council veterinary officer says that they are eliminating the stray dogs using poison, which is placed around garbage dumping sites.

She says that stray dogs have become a menace and a huge challenge especially to children and residents with livestock because they are not vaccinated and therefore likely to spread diseases.

‘’Stray dogs have become a menace and a huge challenge especially to children and residents with livestock because they are not vaccinated and therefore likely to spread diseases,’’ she added.
