KOTIDO: Information reaching our news room indicates that Paul Lowok the LC3 Chairperson for Napumpum Sub County in Kotido district was Sunday evening shot dead in the bar.
Paul Lomulen, a resident of Napumpum trading centre told ugreports that the politician was shot dead by unknown assailants, and the incident happened at around 7pm when he was taking beer.
‘’The unknown assailants bumped into the trading centre and shot Lowok dead, the incident happened at around 7pm, and since it was dark, we didn’t identify them,’’ Lomulen explained.
According to another resident who preferred anonymity, the deceased didn’t have any misunderstanding, and was not involved in any land wrangle.
‘’He wasn’t involved in any land wrangle, and didn’t have misunderstanding with anyone. I don’t know why he was gunned down,’’ she wondered.
By the time of publication, the lifeless body of Paul Lowok was lying at Kotido hospital mortuary.
By Press time, police had not yet released official statement concerning the murder of the Paul Lowok the LC3 Chairperson for Napumpum Sub County.
