MAO APPOINTED MINISTER FOR JUSTICE AND CONSTITUTIONAL AFFAIRS

KAMPALA: The Democratic Party President Norbert Mao has been appointed the minister for Justice and Constitutional Affairs.

This is according to a one paged letter dated 21st July 2022 and signed by the President Museveni that www.ugreports.com has seen. The post has been vacant since the new cabinet was announced by the president last year.

This comes less a day after the two party leaders signed a memorandum of understanding in which the two parties committed to cooperate with one another.

According to the letter, the president has also appointed the state minister for education Hamson Obua government chief whip while Peter Ogwang, the state minister for economic monitoring has been appointed state minister for education and sports.

The president also appointed   Beatrice Akello Akori, the woman MP Agago has been appointed state minister for economic monitoring in the office of the president.
