Suubi Namulindwa, a resident of Kijuura trading centre who was kidnapped by unknown people on Sunday at around 5am while reporting for work has been found alive in Luweero district.
The Masindi Central Police Station in-charge OC CID Joyce Atwoto told our reporter that Namulindwa whose phone has been on GPS tracking was before indicating that she is in Luweero, then later Kiryandongo district. She also explained that Namulindwa was found dumped at one of the hospitals in Luweero district.
According to the police officer, Namulindwa was beaten by the kidnappers before being dumped at the hospital in Luweero. She however didn’t disclose why Namulindwa was kidnapped.
Atwoto said they are in touch with the police in Luweero and they will either ferry Namulindwa to Masindi or they will go and pick her. She noted that Namulindwa will ascertain the details once she is back to Masindi.
