MASINDI: Charles Bwiiso the Masindi State Attorney General was Monday transferred to Kampala after spending good days at Masindi Central Police Station.
Bwiiso was arrested by the state house anti-corruption unit in liaison with the Uganda Police on 10th of April on allegations of corruption.
He was netted by state house anti-corruption unit soliciting and receiving a bribe of three million shillings from persons in a case of defilement in order to close the file.
After his arrest, Bwiiso was handed over to Masindi Central Police Station where he recorded a statement, detained for good days, and on Monday was transferred to Kampala.
