MBALE: The management of Buyonjo government aided primary school in Mbale city was Tuesday morning forced to send the learners back home until further notice following continued attacks on the pupils by what is believed to be ghosts, according to Eastnews.
According to the school head teacher, Solomon Watuwa, a third pupil from primary seven class was Tuesday morning attacked by the said ghosts and left unconscious.
He adds that since last week, they have been facing similar problems at school but were prompted to take the action after the attacks continued.
Some of the parents who preferred anonymity called for involving the religious leaders to go and pray for the school as a solution to the problem.
They also say that sending the children back home will cost both parents and pupils since the learners will lose time yet the teachers have just ended a sit down strike.
