MBARARA CITY FC WINLESS RUN MOVES TO 13 GAMES

MBARARA: The Mbarara City Fc ninless run has extended to 13-matches after a one all draw with BUL FC on Monday 28th March 2022 at Kakyeka stadium.

Captain Solomon Okwalinga gave the Ankole Lions a 1-0 lead at the end of the first stanza from Steve Othieno’s cross.

The home team’s fans’ joy did not last for the entire full time minutes when Ibrahim Nsimbe levelled the tie at 1-1 in the 80th minute.

Sadiq Sempigi’s side Winless run moved to 13 games with 7 losses in that run.

They have drawn five in their previous five games.

Mbarara City FC remain second from bottom with 19 points from 23 matches.

Their next fixture will be away to Vipers SC on 5th April at St Mary’s stadium.

BUL FC remain with no win from their previous seven games away from home.

Alex Isabirye’s side remained 4th with 38 points from 23 games.

Their next fixture will be at home welcoming URA FC at Bugembe Stadium.
