The hubs are state house’s initiative aimed at reducing youth unemployment in the country by equipping them with hands-on skills.

Speaking during the event, the chairperson Omoro district Peter Okello Douglas Okao told Museveni that the people in his district had endorsed him as their sole candidate come 2026 presidential elections.

Okao urged that his people had taken the decision without consulting Museveni because of the need to consolidate the support and the achievements of the NRM party and that because he is able and he had championed peace not only in Acholi but the entire country.

But in response, Museveni thanked Okao for the suggestion noting that the matter would be handled at the right time and advised the people to concentrate on fighting poverty and food insecurity from their homes.
