KAMPALA: Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabanja the Prime Minister of Uganda says the ruling National Resistance Movement – NRM Government has brought peace and stability in the country.
The leader of government businesses states that comparing to other governments, the NRM government has achieved a lot in terms of development. Nabanja notes that there has been improvement of health sector, education, infrastructure and others.
‘’Uganda is steadily progressing because of peace and stability we have in the country, you can’t compare Uganda with other countries in terms of peace and stability, and a country can’t develop without peace,’’ she asserts.
Nabanja also explains that according to Uganda Bureau of Statistics {UBoS}, in the next five years Uganda will be in middle income status. ‘’If it wasn’t the outbreak of corona virus, our economy wouldn’t be affected,’’ she contended.
The prime minister has asked Ugandans to focus on the benefits of NRM government than over staying on power. ‘’We shouldn’t focus on the NRM government over staying on power, rather the benefits to the citizen,’’ she further asserted.
She has asked Ugandans to utilize the peace in the country to work hard and develop them. ‘’The youth should use this opportunity, and embrace government programs for sustainable development,’’ she appealed.
