BULIISA: Police are investigating circumstances under which unidentified people beat a man to death in Boma cell, Butiaba town council, Buliisa District.
The deceased only Derick, a pastoralists was later tied him with a rope and left under a mango tree where he was found lying in a pool of blood.
The gruesome incident happened at 4pm on tuesday.
The Butiaba town council chairperson Moses Asaba K Musa says the 30 year old pastrialist was sometime back a resident of Butiaba town council.
According to Asaba, the deceased might have been killed with a stick since his body had bruises and bloood stains at the time it was found.
The Buliisa District Police Commander John Mwaule confirmed the incident saying the body of the deceased has been transfered to Buliisa general hospital Mortuary where it was lying as investigations go on.
Mwaule however warns the public against taking the law in their hands revealing that the deceased could have been killed resulting from a disagreement.
