MASINDI: One person has died on spot after being involved in an accident.
According to Peter Akugizibwe an eyewitness, the incident has happened this evening at Kabutukuru Centre Bigando Parish Mirya Sub County in Masindi district. ‘’I don’t know the main cause of an accident, however, there was a vehicle which was coming from the same direction, and the boda-boda rider lost control thus getting an accident, the old woman has passed on,’’ he told our reporter.
Gerald Kasangaki the area chairperson Kahara 1 village where an incident happened confirmed the incident and told www.ugreports.com that the deceased hasn’t been identified since she wasn’t a resident of their area. ‘’We haven’t identified the deceased since she wasn’t residing in our area, ’’ he notes.
The local leader also explained that the deceased suspected to be in her early 50’s was heading to Kabutukuru village to pay a visit to her sick child before meeting death. ‘’We have been told she was from Rwengabi village, so we are still tracing for her relatives or friends,’’ Kasangaki told www.ugreports.com.
By the time we filed this story police had not yet reached the scene, and the body of the deceased was still at the scene.
