ONE DEAD, THREE INJURED IN BUKEDEA FATAL ACCIDENT

BUKEDEA: One person has been confirmed dead while the other three are in a critical situation after involving a fatal accident that occurred Monday morning.

The incident happened along Soroti- Mbale highway in Ocuma Otialuk village involving motorcycle registration number UBC 143J and Super Custom registration number UAP 702W.

The two experienced head on collision, the motorcycle riding was carrying two passengers heading to the direction of Soroti while the super custom driver was heading to Mbale.

Adiga Akangwasha, the district police commander Bukedea identified the deceased as Ambrose Orwangu, a motorcycle rider who died on spot and Jafar Kabam, a customer driver and others are not yet to be identified.

“We want to confirm that in this fatal accident, one died on spot and other three are admitted at Bukedea health centre IV in critical condition,” he said.

According to the police findings, the driver of the super custom was in the wrong since he knocked the motorcycle on his side while driving.

However, the motorcycle burnt instantly and both were taken to Bukedea central police station.
