‘’The mother who allegedly became suspicious checked on the victim and realized that something had been done to her,’’ she said.
Angucia told this publication that the victim’s mother registered a case of aggravated defilement at Arua Arua Central Business Division, adding that the victim’s statement was obtained through the mother.
The regional police mouthpiece added that the victim was examined and attended to at Arua Regional Referral Hospital for medical attention on Police Form 3A.
‘’The suspect arrested was also examined on police form 24A; the scene was visited and documented,’’ she further added.
