MBALE: H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni the President of the Republic of Uganda has finally lifted curfew restrictions against the boda boda riders.

The President made the revelation Sunday afternoon while officiating at the 41st Tarehe sita celebrations in Mbale district.

According to the standing order, the cyclists will resume full operations on Monday February 7th 2022.

“The boda boda riders have been saying when will this man open us. I, therefore, announce that effective tomorrow, you go and work” said Museveni.

Today’s National celebration took place in Elgon Region which covers Bugisu and Sebei Areas where the UPDF have been undertaking several community activities that included rehabilitation of Health facilities and other infrastructural facilities under the command of the UPDF Engineering Brigade.
