KAMPALA: HE Yoweri Kaguta Museven the president of republic of Uganda has promoted 528 Uganda People’s Defence Forces {UPDF} officers to different ranks. The promoted officers include three {03} officers from the rank of Lieutenant Colonel to Colonel, twenty seven {27} from Major to Lieutenant Colonel and four hundred ninety eight {498} from Captain to Major.
According to one page press release dated 16th January 2022 seen by www.ugreports.com, Lt. Col Mark Mugarura and Lt. Col Stephen Nsereko are those promoted to full Colonel.
The Ministry of Defense and UPDF fraternity congratulates the officers upon the well-deserved promotions, the press release read.
