PRIEST RALLIES RESIDENTS AGAINST DRUNKENNESS, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

KAGADI: The Hoima catholic Diocese Rt Rev. Vincent Kirabo has urged the residents to shun drunkenness and domestic violence, the call was made on Sunday at the inauguration of St. John’s Ruteete Catholic Health center III in Ruteete town council Kagadi district.

Speaking after the commissioning of St. John’s Ruteete Health center III, Bishop Vincent Kirabo challenged residents to desist from excessive drinking and domestic violence which he says hinders development.

‘’We should desist from excessive drinking and domestic violence because they hinder development of the area,’’ he advised.

Monsignor Peter Kaberenge, the Episcopal vicar Kagadi vicariate said that St. John’s Health Centre III which started on March 30, 2022, cost sh450m with a donation from a German Project under Hoima catholic Diocese.

Barnabas Tinkasiimire, the Buyaga West MP who participated in a silver jubilee marathon with Christians before the commissioning of St. John’s health center urged people to do physical exercises since they are vital for body health.
