RUKUNGIRI: Residents of Rwenshama village in Rwenshama parish, Bwambara Sub County in Rukungiri district have been thrown into shock after a wife pierced the husband and took into hiding.
Kenneth Niwagaba the Rwenshama parish Chairperson identified the suspect as Natukunda Patience aka Kabaya wife to Monday Lucky a businessman and fisherman at Rwenshama landing site.
The incident happened yesterday evening.
Niwagaba explains that the duo have had a long standing domestic violence which could have resulted into this bloodshed.
”People had an alarm from the victim’s house thus forcing them to rush to his house for assistance and arranged an ambulance that ferried him to Kalori Lwanga Hospital Nyakibale for medical attention,” he explained.
Police was yet to issue an official statement about the incident by press time.
