SALAM CHARITY LAUNCHES BUNYORO AMBULANCE FUNDRAISING DRIVE

BUNYORO: Salam Charity, a non government organization with the Bunyoro regional office in Masindi town has launched Bunyoro Ambulance fundraising drive in the region.

According to Bashir Alinda the Administrator Hamza Salam Foundation {Bunyoro Wing}, under the Ambulance project, they realized that in Bunyoro and other parts of Uganda, there is increased mortality rates due to hardship in accessing health centres.

He says they ought to fundraise for mobile ambulances for hard reachable areas in Bunyoro. ”Many patients in rural areas hardly access better health services, and we hope these ambulances will resolve the problem,” he asserts.

Alinda also explains that the beneficiaries of the project are natives in Bunyoro and the neighborhood. ”We believe that when you help one person to satisfy his health issues, you will have help the entire mankind,” he notes.

The administrator also says their target is for every district in Bunyoro to have mobile ambulance. ”This fundrising is aiming at donating the mobile ambulance to all districts in Bunyoro subregion,” he asserts.

Bunyoro sub region has eight districts, and they are Buliisa, Masindi, Hoima, Kagadi, Kakumiro, Kiryandongo, Kagadi, and Kibaale.

Alinda states that every act of kindness is charity, we can join hands and we acquire these mobile ambulances. It cost ugx. 70,000,000.
