SCHOOLS CAUTIONED AGAINST CHASING LEARNERS TOWARDS EXAMS

KASESE: The Kasese District LCV Vice chairperson Jetress Ithungu has appealed to school managements in the district to avoid chasing candidates for school fees during the examination period saying that the act may contribute to poor performance.

Political leader made the call today while wishing success to the candidates who are preparing for their exams that commenced on October 15th by the briefing.

Ithungu says during this period of time, school managements need to first give ample time to the candidates.

According to her, if a child is chased during the examination time, it demoralizes them and also may cause stress hence leading to less concentration and eventually performs badly.

On parents, Ithungu urged the candidate’s guardians to also avoid assigning candidates with hard tasks at home and quickly asked the parents to give a conducive environment for learners to concentrate on their books.

She asked the candidates to go by all the examination guidelines to avoid being penalized.
