HOIMA: The Hoima district security committee has commenced investigations on non-vaccinated teachers who allegedly bought corona virus vaccination cards.
This follows after the arrest of three hospital staff members attached to Butema Health Centre iii by police while selling vaccination cards to non-vaccinated persons.
Samuel Kisembo Araali the Hoima City RCC says, after the arrest of three hospital workers, they revealed all the details of all the people whom they sold to these cards. Kisembo revealed this during the teachers’ training at Kitara Secondary School in Hoima city where over 400 both government and private teachers were trained.
“After investigating the arrested hospital workers, they have explained to us much information about their sales and the unvaccinated teachers whom they sold to, we have their details and we are going to arrest them and some of them will lose jobs”. Kisembo said.
He also says they are going to inspect all government schools and all those teachers who tend to miss classes shall be worked upon. ‘’We shall pay them according to the number of days worked because we shall not allow government’s money to be wasted” angry Kisembo revealed.
