MASINDI: St. Lawrence Nursery and Primary School Masindi was among the best schools in the just released primary leaving examinations results.
The 2022 national Primary Leaving Exam (PLE) results were made public by the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) on Friday.
St. Lawrence Nursery and Primary UNEB results show that all its candidates performed exceptionally well in the first grade.
‘’All the pupils from the school achieved marks in the sought-after division one.’’
The school registered 21 candidates for the UNEB.
The top performing pupils from St. Lawrence Nursery and Primary School scored division 1 with an aggregate of 5 points.
One scored five aggregates, one scored six aggregates. Five scored seven aggregates, six scored eight aggregates, five scored nine aggregates, two scored ten aggregates while one scored twelve aggregates.
Mr. Basiima Philip, the school deputy head teacher said there has been tremendous improvement in the PLE 2022 results compared to the 2021 results.
He commended the parents, teachers and the school management for the results adding that this is the beginning and they hope to register more success in the future.
In PLE 2021, St Lawrence Nursery and Primary School Masindi registered the best pupil in the district who scored five aggregates.
