NTUNGAMO: Candidates for all the three levels of examinations have been urged to concentrate on academics and discipline if they are to perform well at the final examinations across the country.

According to the Director Rwentobo East secondary School Ahimbisibwe Augustus Kagame students must avoid any distraction ahead of National Examinations in October and November this year.

Director Ahimbisibwe hailed staff and students of Rwentobo East secondary School for performing well in the last years’ exams where they got a candidate with 14 points in ‘8’ in Rushenyi county.

He made remarks on Saturday during the farewell party for S.4 and S.6 held in the schools’ main hall in Rwentobo-Rwahi Town council Rushenyi county Ntungamo district.

Director Ahimbisibwe asked parents and guardians to entrust them with their children to be nurtured well holistically to remain relevant in the Education sector.

The chief guest Eng. Emmanuel Nyakubaho who is the pioneer of the school appealed to the candidates and students at large to be focused and determined as the only way to excel.


The head teacher of Rwentobo East secondary School Kamugisha Baker challenged them to work hard and trust in God in everything and thanked them for discipline.

The chairperson school council Nsabimana Elia assured parents and the school that they will excel highly in the forthcoming examinations.

Rwentobo East secondary School which started in 2008 is both O’ and A’ level with 54 candidates in S.4 and 21 candidates in S.6 who will sit for mock starting 11th July 2022 ahead of final examinations.

Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) examinations will be held from October 14 to November 18, 2022, the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) examinations will be from November 18 to December 9, 2022 and Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) will take place from 7 to 9 November 2022.
