NTOROKO: At least two people have been hacked in Bwelamule village, Ntoroko district on the border of with Eastern DRC.
The attack, according to sources has triggered panic among locals, fearing the attack was carried out by Allied Democratic Forces {ADF} an armed terrorists group based in Eastern DRC.
The victims of the attack are being treated in public facilities.
The Defence Spokesperson Brig. Falix Kulayigye said there are suspicions that ADF entered Ntoroko but there was no fighting reported.
He added that UPDF soldiers are now on ground to check what happened, adding it’s important to check first.
