MASINDI: The AIDS Support Organization {TASO} Masindi cluster is organizing a marathon as a way to raise money to support some of the most vulnerable children and adolescents who are within their care.
This was disclosed on Tuesday morning by Dr. Bonny Oryokot, the Center Program Manager TASO Masindi speaking to our reporter.
Oryokot said that the marathon is also aimed at creating awareness and mobilizing additional funds to support some of the most vulnerable children and adolescents who are within their care.

The center program manager asserted that the marathon scheduled to take place on 29th of May this year is targeting all categories of people and all age brackets.
He also said that they are targeting to raise a minimum of 2.5 million shillings since its first of its kind in Masindi district. ”I’m requesting the public to contribute towards this cause, each kit goes upto 25,000 shillings only.”
