THUGS BREAK INTO MASINDI HARDWARE SHOP, SECURITY GUARDS ARRESTED
Police from Masindi Central Police Station rushed to the scene this morning and arrested two private security guards who were on duty.

MASINDI: Police in Masindi district have commenced investigations under which unidentified thugs broke into Bakerm Hardware Shop and took off with unidentified items.
The incident happened in the wee hours of Tuesday morning. Baker’s Hardware is located along Masindi-Port Road in Masindi town.
Police from Masindi Central Police Station rushed to the scene this morning and arrested two private security guards who were on duty.
Speaking to our reporter at the scene, the proprietor of Bakerm Hardware, Mr. Mwesigwa Baker, confirmed the incident and said they are yet to identify the number of items that have been stolen.
He explained that they have no access to the hardware shop since it has been cordoned off by security, noting that they will be able to establish the number of items and amount of money stolen later.
Without divulging details, the Albertine Region Police Spokesperson, Julius Allan Hakiza, confirmed the incident and said two private security guards have been arrested to aid in investigations.
