OPINION: Every armed robber comes from a home; every one disturbing society comes from a home. Everyone affecting society positively or negatively comes from a home. Family is the bed rock of every society.

Though it is fore said that charity begins at home, it is not only charity that begins at home. Everything begins at home. Good or bad, discipline begins at home, productivity, responsibility begins at home. Family life is very important.

There is a reason why God designed family life the way it is. The father has his role as far as raising the child is concerned. The bible says that train up a child in the way they should go NOT in the way you want them to go.

The first assignment as a parent is to find the blue print of that child’s destiny then to raise up that child consistently with the blue print you have been given. Train up a child………… I submit to you with every sense of responsibility and respect that most of the people that evolve into failures in the societies, their failure started from lack of proper mentorship that should have come from the father and mother.

They were allowed to freelance their ideas about life and they began to hand pick ideas from all kinds of references like media. The average families today depend on school to do their work.

If You asked children where they get their convictions from, their answers shall be plain;my teacher said…….., Not daddy said…… not mummy said…. if you are fortunate enough to take your child to a good school, then if it is safe for you. If not so then there is trouble for you. We must restore the order of family.

Let the child learn how to give from home, let children learn how to pray from home… Not by the father giving instructions but leading the way. Train means lead the way. Hope you know how the train moves in couches. When the holy book said that train up a child, it meant you lead the way and they follow.

Children are good imitators not good listeners. As children are in their holidays, let us work harder to code our children before they return to schools so as to transform societies and win societal trust that had been lost.
